The 2020 Census will coincide with the 2020 Presidential Election’s battle between President Trump and Democrats. In California, Democrats and Gov. Newsom are prepared to combat the President’s fear tactic of attempting to add a citizenship question by investing more in the 20202 census efforts.

Karthick Ramakrishnan notes “Immigrants are very skilled at avoiding government and they really don’t trust the Trump administration. The citizenship question is just adding fuel to the fire.”
