People typically correlate the Golden State to the cities and landmarks surrounding the coast. The attention is driven towards places like the Bay, Hollywood, and Disneyland. A new coalition of Inland California counties is aiming towards changing that narrative. Inland California Rising, co-founded by CSI’s Karthick Ramakrishnan, united nearly 200 leaders from Inland Southern California and the Central Valley at its second regional convening in the Riverside Convention Center. The summit included members of Governor Gavin Newsom’s, elected officials, philanthropy, education, community organizations, and other leaders from the region in an effort to promote the accomplishments while advocating for further investment of Inland California.
