Riverside, CA –

The Center for Social Innovation at UCR has partnered with the Southern California News Group to create the SoCal Policy Forum, an online platform that will host the opinions of experts on a wide array of issues. Each month a new topic will be unveiled and each of the 34 contributors will have 300 words to provide their take. The current topic is on homelessness as folks from politics and public administration, academia, nonprofit management, community advocacy, and business have discussed the many causes and solutions. Southern California News Group will also be posting some of these responses on some of their newspapers’ opinion articles. According to Karthick Ramakrishnan, “We are excited to launch this platform that builds a greater policy interest and a stronger sense of shared community across Southern California, and the Southern California News Group has been an exceptional partner in this effort.”
