The Inland Empire is booming, but not for the women who live there

The gender gap remains wide in the Inland Empire both politically and economically despite the rapid growth and transformation that has hit the region in the last decade, research recently published by UC Riverside's Center for Social Innovation shows.

The center's "State of Women in the Inland Empire" report combines original research and analysis with state and federal data on the economy, public safety, health and voting patterns to paint a broad picture of gender inequality in the region.
