Hi, I’m Carmen Zambrano and the Qualitative Graduate Student Researcher at CSI. In 2019, I graduated from San Jose State University and received my BA in Sociology. Post-graduation I began working in Tech-Sales in Silicon Valley. Although the Tech space was challenging and rewarding, I decided to jump-start a career change. Currently, I am a graduate student with UCR’s Master of Public Policy program. My academic interests include social justice, education, and immigration policy. I am particularly interested in supporting undocumented students’ academic and career success.

I just made a move from San Jose, CA to the Circle City in Riverside County. I am loving the weather! In my free time, I enjoy being a coffee fanatic, observing my husband enthusiastically watch Football, and spending time with my crazy puppy, Archie.
