Across the U.S. and around the world, there has been successful projects developed to resolve some of the challenging issues that are faced. In Southern California, one of the biggest issues that faces the community and surround regions is the smog pollution. According to the American Lung Association's "State of the Air" report, "the Los Angeles metropolitan area ranked the worst in the nation with respect to smog pollution." Dr. Ramakrishnan shares a project going on in the Inland Empire that aims to achieve clean transportation.
