The Center for Social Innovation study showed the Inland Empire with 284,409 innovation postings last year, up 13% in a pandemic year and an 88% jump since 2016. San Bernardino County had 156,942 of these postings, up 16% in a year and 101% since 2016. Riverside County had 127,467 postings, up 9% in a year and 74% since 2016.

That growth is on par with the rest of Southern California’s innovation upswing with 570,838 postings, up 13% in a year and 87% since 2016.
